Give the discount a start date and an optional end date so it runs only when you want it to.
How a discount works
Define the discount
Choose a percentage or fixed amount, a code if you want one, and the value it takes off.
Set when it runs
A valid-from date starts it; an optional valid-until date ends it. Outside that window it does nothing.
Applied at checkout
The discount comes off the reservation total during booking and stays recorded on the reservation.
